Adorable Dog Trained To Respond To Harry Potter Spells, Internet Thinks It's The Cutest Hogwarts Student

Dog training- the fruits are sweet but the toiling is gruesome. Armed with a couple of snacks and a voice that may eventually become hoarse, dog owners put in the hours but with every effort, the results are definitely worth it. Every dog will benefit from proper training and socialization. The sheer joy of a puppy listening to instructions is unmatched, but some dog persons are not afraid of taking it to a whole new level.

Anna Brisbin, a voice actress and a YouTuber from Los Angeles decided to go the unconventional way to train her dog. Instead of using English, she went for Harry Potter spells and it worked out pretty well. Harry Potter is my EVERYTHING. It’s what inspired me to become an actor, made me a nerd, gave me my creativity and kindness, my friends, everything. I have a tattoo that says “Lumos” in JK Rowling’s handwriting on my arm that I got the day I met her. And of course, my puppy’s name is Remus. So training in Harry Potter spells was really just the obvious choice,”

Anna adopted Remus after the loss of her beloved pet, Lexie. Remus who is now 10 months started her dog training when he was 2 months old. She says that Remus already mastered 9 spells and has a few words for anyone willing to follow her example.

“Positive reinforcement. Always. Make it fun for the dog, obviously. When Remus seems to be struggling, we try to back up and make it easier by going back to the basics like Stupefy which he is really confident with.”
