Reports have confirmed that Amber Heard was staying in a luxurious mansion in Virginia during her civil court fight against ex-husband Johnny Depp. The 13,000 square-foot property cost her $22,500 a month, complete with fully-furnished, multiple bedrooms, a home theater, and a tennis court with a patio overlooking the court.
The court ruled Depp in favor, with the jury initially granting him $15 million in compensation, including $5 million in punitive damages.

But Judge Penney Azcarate later capped the punitive damages to $350,000, and Heard was granted $2 million in compensation for damages from Depp. This means Heard owes Depp around $8.35 million. However, Heard has been seen residing in a luxurious mansion located about a 25-minute drive away from the Fairfax Country Courthouse.
Elaine Bredehoft had publicly announced that Heard "absolutely" cannot pay the full damages. She's also confident that the actress will be able to request an appeal for the verdict. But TMZ reported that Heard and her family were staying comfortable in the luxurious mansion throughout the time.
The house is located in a leafy D.C. suburb that was described as "one of the most distinctive and private estates offered in McLean."
The elegantly furnished estate opened to a set of grand stairways and an expansive living room. Connected to the comfortable and white-dominated living room is the elegant kitchen room.
The real estate was rented on May 4, 2020, but records did not list the name. Witnesses mentioned seeing Heard, her sister Whitney, and her daughter Oomagh Paige. Her security was also seen at the property.
Bredehoft spoke on Today Show after the court's verdict, "We had an enormous amount of evidence that was suppressed in this case that was in the UK case. In the UK case when it came in, Amber won and Mr Depp lost."
"The court found there - and we weren't allowed to tell the jury this - but the court found that Mr Depp had committed at least 12 acts of domestic violence, including sexual violence against Amber," she continued.
Bredehoft referred to when Depp lost his libel case in 2020 to The Sun when he was written as a "wife beater." When he appealed, the court held on to their verdict that was made by the single judge to be "full and fair."
Bredehoft insisted that a series of cruel text messages aimed at Heard proved his nature of violence, saying, "We had significant amount of texts, including from Mr. Depp's assistants, saying 'When I told him he kicked you, he cried, he is so sorry.' That didn't come in."
Bredehoft also defended Heard's action and continued, "Unless you pull out your phone and videotape your spouse beating you, you won't be believed."
She's also quoted social media as an influence on the jury's decision that eventually favored Depp. Bredehoft said, "There's no way they couldn't have been influenced. It was horrible. It was really, really lop-sided. It's like the Roman coliseum, how they viewed this whole case."
