Billionaire Elon Musk is now heavily monitored more than ever after purchasing Twitter. In his recent tweet, the Tesla Founder has now shared his wish to meet his Chinese lookalike named Yilong Ma, from the Northern Chinese province of Hebei.

Yilong is quite popular on social media platforms, especially for his striking resemblance with the Tesla CEO.

Yilong first found fame in 2021 when his photos showcasing the similarities between him and Musk were widely circulated. He usually shares his clips on Duoyin, a sister version of TikTok. Previously, Musk had responded to his doppelganger, saying he may be partly Chinese.

Yet again, Musk has tweeted he would like to meet his lookalike to know if the guy actually exists or if he’s a deep fake.

It was a response to a tweet by a user who opined the Chinese Elon Musk could be a decoy for the real deal. “Show we deploy Chinese @elonmusk as a decoy?” the tweet had read. Yilong has since gotten the message and replied, saying he would love to meet with the billionaire. He said on China’s Twitter-like Weibo: “I am here. I want very much to see you too! I love you, you are my hero.”

News.com.au reported the Global Times opined that Yilong could have used AI to face copy the features of Musk. But to prove himself, the Chinese man promised to do a live stream.

However, this comes after Musk recently tweeted a very cryptic post. He had written to his over 91 million followers: “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowing ya.” But thankfully, he took a step back after his mother took the tweet seriously, saying: “That’s not funny.” And Musk responded with: “Sorry! I will do my best to stay alive.”
