If there’re shades of darkness in the comic universe, then the work of French art director Rémi Lascault is on a next-level dark. The comic artist has since 2017 been shaking the internet with his dark jokes, and Yes, Lascault’s 69.4K followers on Instagram just can’t get enough. His four-panel comics come with an unexpected grim twist, guaranteed to make you feel a little bad for laughing.

The 32-Year-Old describes his art style as rough and had claimed the most challenging part is coming up with the proper stupid joke and twisting it in a not-so-stupid way. Due to this, Lascault’s audiences have been getting hilarious comics that appear normal in the first two panel but quickly goes awkward, weird and sometimes creepy.
