Geraldine West, a social media Influencer known for exposing Instagram myth, is back with a new set of photos depicting reality. Geraldine had gone viral in 2019, following the launch of her photo series titled: Instagram vs. Reality. In the series, the German takes side-by-side photos of herself that depict the same situations in real life and how they appear on social media. Geraldine shows just how ridiculous it all is and what unrealistic expectations have resulted in today’s world, from being at the beach to traveling. 

With over 52k followers, Geraldine, in her latest collection, bared it in the bath for one snap, revealing hairy legs that a few would be proud to share on social media. In another, the influencer ridiculed perfect workout photos shared by influencers, showing herself being drenched in sweat after a rigorous jog. Geraldine’s photos are the actual perspective that can be related to. So when you scroll through perfect feeds on Instagram, remember not to take it to heart as not everything seen online is genuine.
