Cardi’s performance became quite the topic of conversation during the latest segment on Fox News. In a short clip shared on Twitter, the discussion featured Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens giving their opinion on the performance.

Candace Owens dubbed the performance destruction of America Values

On the show, Candace dubbed the performance destruction of America Values. “Parents should be terrified that this is the direction that our society is heading towards. Again we are weakening America. We are setting the stage, and it feels like we are looking at corrosion like we are about to see the end of an empire.”

Not minding the controversy, Cardi took to Twitter and wrote: “Yaaaayyyyyy, WE MADE FOX NEWS GUYS!!! Wap Wap Wap.” In another tweet, Cardi poked fun at Owens, referring to her as Candy, and equally thanked her for boosting the number of views of the YouTube video of the Grammy’s Performance.

Cardi B hits back with a tweet that Owens seemed to have deleted back in November.

“STREAM UP AND WAP. REMEMBER GROWN PARENTS ONLY YOU CAN MONITOR WHAT YOUR KIDS WATCH NO 1 ELSE.’ Cardi said in another tweet. In part, she added alongside an inked-out nude photo of Melania Lady: “I don’t know why candy is so bothered by WAP. I was just inspired by our former First Lady.”

The tweet war hatched into several exchanges between Cardi and Owens. It even resulted in Owens asking fans and followers to send a thank you note to Cardi for her hype man's work. As the two waged war, the suggestion their fight could end up in the courts over a defamation lawsuit emerged.

The legal threat originated when Cardi references Owens’ now-deleted tweeted about her husband cheating on her with her brother in November 2020.  “Yes, just spoke with my family. I am 100% suing Cardi for that nonsense. You can’t just start throwing out wild lies against private members of my family because you’re upset someone called you out on your degenerate performance. I will keep you all posted.” Candace added.
