Artist Makes Short Animations Out Of Classical Arts With A Dark Humor

How do people channel their inner creativity? The popular medium hundreds of years ago would be through poems, music, sculptures, and paintings. There weren't many mediums available, nor were people giving arts the attention they deserve. But masterpieces of those times continue to become one world's greatest treasures today. Kajetan Obarski, however, sees these paintings differently. As an animator, she does what she knows best: create short animations on these artworks!

The Amsterdam-based creative mind always manages to come up with interesting scenes that can be pretty morbid at times. "I create short animations about my love to mankind," the illustrator explained. Besides short animations, Obarski is also a photographer and musician, often sharing her social media creations. On Facebook, the animator has over 146k followers and close to 50k on Instagram.
