The reported figure of animal cruelty cases is a tip of an iceberg as every 60 seconds records an animal being abused. In our advanced world, animal abuse continues to occur, taking numerous forms but indeed deserve a stop. Your favorite artist, Jenny Jinya, is back with another tragic story hinged on animal abuse. Jenny has covered multiple animals, including an abandoned, and now she’s drawing our attention to Orcas living in captivity to entertain people.
‘Globally, an estimated 3000 whales and dolphins are living in captivity. These creatures travel hundreds of miles per day in their natural habitat and live in close family groups. But in captivity, they spend weeks, months, and years in total isolation. A lot of Orcas and dolphins are given birth to in captivity while a few are abducted.’ Artist Jenny explained.
With thousands of followers on numerous social media pages, the amount of campaign she raises through her comics is worth changing the heart of a hardened human being. Besides, aren’t you concerned about the dire conditions of the marine world? Drawing people’s attention to many problems as possible, Artist Jenny added that Orcas mostly pass away in captivity from infections and even pneumonia.

The captivity of whales and dolphins is quite brutal. A lot tend to die or get injured from violent beatings and even high-speed boat chases. Sadly, the young and healthy are most commonly taken. Hence the future generation of these struggling species and the aftermath of human interference are far-reaching.

According to a National Geographic report, Orcas, the marine mammals, and celebrities of numerous amusement parks have long died before their time due to severe maltreatment. Nevertheless, Orcas are regarded as intelligent and genetically built to live, feed, and migrate only within the ocean. On the other hand, going through Jenny’s comics can get you emotional, but apparently, they speak of the harsh truths we mostly run away from. Let’s together do hope for positive changes as it’s urgently required!
