German Track Star Alica Schmidt Dubbed The Sexiest Athlete In The World



Alica Schmidt, a German mid-range runner tagged as the sexiest athlete in the whole world has officially returned to training after months of complete lockdown.

The 21-Year-Old, hoping for an outside chance for Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games competes in the 400m event and has starred at the a Junior level for Germany after which she and her team claimed a silver media at an European Athletics Under-20 Championships in the year 2017.

Alica followed up the aforesaid with a bronze on the same occasion in the Under-23 European Championship in 2019. She evidently hasn’t been turning heads on the track, but have also been turning heads on social media, garnering over 800 Instagram followers.

Sharing sexy photos to Instagram, this resulted in an Australian Magazine, known as ‘The Busted Coverage’ to dub her the World’s Sexiest Athlete. ‘I don’t know how I got this title, but for me, sport comes clearly first.’ Alica reacted to the given title.

She added: ‘There are millions of girls on Instagram who appear good and still don’t have many followers and that’s a competitive sport for me.’ Accordingly, Alicia had equally earned a deal with international sports brand Puma, a sponsor of the popularly known Usain Bolt.

And despite being approached by a lot of admirers, Alica focuses more on her career and track achievements and has now set hope for the Tokyo Olympics. Nevertheless, with Germany easing their lockdown rules, the athlete took to social media to share her delight at being able to train again.

‘I can now train on the track again. Months back, I did everything alone or in pairs outside. Now, I am excited to be able to train in the stadium again.’ Alica wrote in a post uploaded on April 19.
