Women Dress Up Their Best At Home To Celebrate Ladies Day Amid Lockdown

Put off your pajamas today and key into the viral trend! Yes, women from across different countries are showcasing their best outfits and hats as they virtually celebrate the Aintree’s Ladies Day amid lockdown.

The popularly-known racing occasion was scheduled to take place on April 3rd but was canceled due to the ongoing pandemic – and instead of being all down about it, the event has been turned into a challenge with women competing for the Best Dressed Award.

Showcasing it takes more than just a lockdown to get in the way of fashion, women listed in this article used their bedrooms, lounges and even kitchens as backdrops while posing for the camera.

While a lot of us have spent the recent weeks in comfortable outfits at home, these gorgeous Grand National fans appear sensational in attractive sky-high heels and outfits. Until now, only the racegoers with tickers have entered the admired Best Dressed Competition.

On the other hand, event organizers have extended the competition to the whole of the United Kingdom, urging those in self-isolation to submit their best race dresses photo by noon on April 6. Interestingly, entries have been flooding in and several women have been displaying floral ensembles to commemorate the beginning of spring.

Titled ‘A Grand Day In’ the event clarifies that any outfits pre-bought for the racing event won’t be useless and in order to enter the competition, a photograph of oneself or with the outfits laid out to wear can be submitted to the Ladies Day Facebook Page.
