Woman Went Blind After Getting Her Eyeballs Tattooed

'Blue Eyed White Dragon' is how Amber Luke, 24, calls herself. The name can also be derived from a popular trading card game back in the days, where one of the most popular, powerful card was a 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'.

The girl has spent more than $26,000 on tattoos, piercings, and fillers which changed her whole appearance. Amber has 200 tattoos from head to toe, breast augmentations and fillers on her cheek and lip. She also added pointed implants on her hears.

She decided to go wild and extreme - by dyeing her eyeballs in blue.

She was tattooing her eyeballs, letting a tattoo artist inject blue ink into her eyeballs. Amber describes what it felt like while speaking to Barcroft TV.

"I can't even begin to describe to you what the feeling was like, the best thing I can give you is once the eyeball was penetrated with the ink, it felt like [the tattoo artist] grabbed 10 shards of glass and rubbed it in my eye."

The extreme pain was felt 4 times per eye, according to Amber and unfortunately, she went blind after the procedure.

"My artist went too deep into my eyeball. If your eyeball procedure's done correctly, you're not supposed to go blind at all.

"I was blind for three weeks. That was pretty brutal."

Amber plans to go fully covered with tattoo by 2020, but she won't be going through anymore extreme body modifications.

"So no more tongue splitting, no more eyeball tattooing."

Meanwhile, Vikki, Amber's mother, broke down in tears when her daughter decided to get a change in her eyeball's color.

"Why would you do that to yourself, knowing that there is a danger to it. Some kids will just do what they want to do, regardless of what we say. But I brought her into the world with the best skills that I could give, the best that I could give her it’s just for me to be there and go along the journey with her. And prop her up, and love her."

Vikki added, "She never saw herself as being beautiful. She didn't see herself through my eyes. But I've supported her because I could actually see the transition, the growth and how it's made her come to who she is today."

Amber also revealed that this 40-minute procedure has high risk of permanent blindness.

Amber also released a picture of her when she was a 14-year-old schoolgirl. She 'absolutely hates' the Amber from that time. She said, "It wasn't me."

"It wasn't until I turned 16, I was finally able to find an outlet that released all my negative energy."

Amber has no regrets over what she has done on her body and she won't be worrying over what she's going to look like when she's older. She doesn't think she'll look anywhere close to beautiful as an elderly.

She's also received mixed responses. And to the negative ones, she sees it more important that she wakes up as a happy person as long as no one's harmed in the process.

"I gained a lot of support and positive vibes from complete strangers - there was always the few nasty opinionated ones who try to make you feel inadequate, but I never let them get to me."
