Photographer Christian Vieler has found fulfillment in capturing glorious moments that elicit the purest joy. He specializes in capturing dogs trying to snaffle treats mid-air; something dog lovers wished they experienced.

This unbridled happiness is often marred by panicked anticipation and a focused concentration as the dog tries to guess where the next treat will come from. The shots portray some of the unique personalities our pups have. Pure emotions are written all over their goofy faces as the pups are split between total excitement and panicked anticipation for the next bite.

Vieler has been documenting dog’s reaction since 2013 and by now his Facebook and Instagram accounts are filled with adorable pup faces.

While the models keep posing as long as treats are coming, it seems that this project has something for everyone at the end of the day.

“I started doing the treat shots by accident and chance,” Christian said.

 "I had never seen anything like it before, but I didn’t plan on doing that kind of photography either! Back in 2013, I got myself a flash with a big battery pack for outdoor use. The day my new toy arrived was a rainy one, so I started discovering all flash options in my living room – especially the capability of freezing motion.
