As usual, Reddit users were busy forking out life experiences in detail when somebody asked: ”Women of Reddit, what was their worst ‘nice guy’ experience?”. Well, after a bunch of interesting stories, this guy’s story probably deserves a medal( as well as the hero characters) for the best feel-good experience after a story.

The guy by the username ThrowAwayForPancakes was on a date with his girlfriend when he overheard a girl being threatened by her date at a restaurant. It was obviously disturbing, with the mean guy saying pretty disturbing things; so he intervened.

However, while his adrenaline pumped body was about to get off the seat, an older man stopped him, and the whole situation took a whole new twist. It was the best hero moment which sadly, was never captured on camera.
