Artist's Beautiful Illustrations Depicting What It’s Like To Be Fully In Love

From romantic to sad or even bizarre moments, done in the comfort of closed doors, these are what artist Amanda Oleander is focused on. Her adorable drawings bring out the little things people do when they are at home, guards down and can now be themselves. Speaking of her contemporary style she said, “my style is influenced by artists I studied while getting my BFA, such as Modigliani, Alice Neel, and Picasso”.  “But I am also very influenced by cartoons I watched as a child” She added.

The artist draws inspiration from her own experiences as well as her friends and family. She admits to being enthralled by the little moments most often done unconsciously but which impact significantly on who we are. So she draws them, the moments that can’t really be documented.
