Adam Levine Taking Off His Shirt At The Super Bowl Has Sparked A Debate On Twitter

Super Bowl this year is another awesome time of the year in Atlanta. We know all of you enjoyed the game and had fun with it. But this time, we want to talk about the other half of the show which involves many famous artists that make their own epic entrance in the show. Lady Gaga decided to have a swing and is clad in starry outfit while Travis Scott had a joint performance with Maroon 5 and Big Boi, the rapper from Outkast.

People are complaining about Adam Levine, lead vocalist of Maroon 5, exposing his nipples on stage. Now, this is not about him being topless, but because people are comparing that to Janet Jackson's act on stage 15 years ago. Janet had an accident on stage while she performed a duet with Justin Timberlake and had her clothes ripped apart which consequently showed her breast. Apparently, it was part of her stunt where JT was supposed to only ripped its surface and show a red lace underneath, but regardless of that, Janet was fined for the accident.

And the controversy continues.

Twitter doesn't exactly have a short memory, so when people started applauding Adam Levine's nipples, the double standards debate was born.

The nipple-gate backlash received thousands of retweets as people voiced their opinions.

Some even called out racism as well as sexism.
