A premier league match between Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers went into a brief recess after a majestic black cat took over the field just about the 67th minute. While the fans were mad with adrenaline the cat was busy being part of the game even as officials remained perplexed as to how the feline found its way into the stadium or onto the field for that matter.

Uninterested with the cheering crowd of spectators and perplexing looks or players, the cat took its time; delightfully wandering around while inspecting the goals and taking a little tour of around the pitch.

Even while the cat ran sideline to sideline, none of the players or officials were willing to try and help the cat escape the field as they all stood around and watched the wildly feline scamper around in excitement. Perhaps they were trying to avoid the embarrassment of trying to chase down a cat because it’s quite obvious how ridiculous the scene would look like.
